The SOLAR-JET project has explored solar-thermochemical redox cycles from 2011 to 2015, within this period the consortium has produced the world's first sample of solar thermochemical kerosene. The project website is now inactive and will not be updated.

SOLAR-JET receives 1st aireg Award for producing the first solar kerosene that can easily be used as fuel for aviation!
The SOLAR-JET Project will attend the AERDODAYS 2015 in London on October 20-23. ETH Zürich solar reactor will be exhibited on stand 5-12 on the fith floor of the Queen Elizabeth II Centre. The Project Coordinator, Dr. Andreas Sizmann (BHL), will be happy to welcome you there and present the project achievements. He will also give a presentation on "Progress and Perspectives of Solar Fuels" during the Parallel Session on Tuesday, 20 October starting at 13:50 (UK time).
